Education is a vital service given to any society. Without education there won't be an organised, well-structured and developed society. This relation between the society and the educational system should be built on give and take. We have just mentioned how eduction can benefit the society; the question is what can the society do to benefit from education? the society in return should provide and support the education system technically and financially. Technically by providing the educational system with qualified teachers, up-to-date curricula and teaching aids and well-equipped educational institutions. Financially through salaries paid to those who work within the educational system , besides providing the required logistics without which there won't be education in the first place.
It is a mutual relationship; as much as you give, as much as you reap benefit.

Interesting comments here, MM, but what happened during class to make you come to this realisation? Was there a moment? An incident? I am intrigued to know how you are defining education here. Do you mean formal schooling or the passing on of knowledge, skills and attitudes of a society in less formal ways Is it society's obligation to educate or do we have a responsibility to society to educate ourselves? Food for thought.
ReplyDeleteAs I have told you before, thanks to the administration in my school, each department in school has has a laptop and a data show which could be used by its members to maximize the learning outcome. These tech equipment offered to school through the community contributions.
DeleteHi Mr Mohamad this is agood idea I just post somthing like it on my blog have you thought about our project do you think somthin like this could be suitable
ReplyDeleteHow? We shall discuss that issue we meet next Sunday Inshaa Allah.
ReplyDeletedear Mr Mohamed you have raised a very important issue very important but we can say a corner stone in nation development which is the education hope one day we can achieve this high quality standards applied to every student in our beloved country free and available in even small villages as well as large cities thank you
ReplyDeleteThank you for this post Mr. 3M
ReplyDeletebut there is a something that I can't get it , I can see that your administration provides you with lap tops and all the tools needed for technology and on the other hand they don't use communication through emails !!
I want to know if this is a common thing among experimental schools ? Or it's only iin your school ?
First of all my school is not an experimental one. It is a public secondary school. You are right we have a lot of laptops, but the administration doesn't use them as an administrative tool because they are Digital immigrants and they still believe in the red tape process in administration as the majority of administrators, however, they believe in the future!
ReplyDeleteDear Mr. Mohammad ,
ReplyDeleteThanks to your administration, you got benefited from the community around you . However it can't be applied on all school even if the administration is helpful ,it depends on the location of the school . Your school in a rich area surrounding by several oil companies .So we can't compare this unique school to others in poor and average areas or even in villages or desert etc...
By the way , Mervat and I want to discuss something with you .
